Blank page showing

Hi everyone -

My company is just getting around to testing icescrum, and we're having an issue with deployment to Tomcat 5.5.26 - the server is starting fine, but all I'm getting back is a blank page (solid white) when I try to hit it. Has anyone run into this before? Can anyone advise on deploying to this version of Tomcat?

Same problem, same tomcat version. On tomcat 6, 6.0.16 is everything ok, except session timeout problem solved in thread upward.

I have the same problem, me download icescrum2_R2_9_war_tomcat6.zip, I have Tomcat 5.5 and copy the. war in tomcat Webapps and place in Mozilla Firefox http://localhost:8080/icescrum2 / and it doesn't visualize anything, only one paginates in Blank.

You may need 3 jars :

* el-api.jar
* xercesImpl.jar
* xml-apis.jar

I recommend to use the last iceSrum2 WAR release available on the site : R2#11 (click to download the 45 Mo WAR file )

It will work with Tomcat5.5 with simply addding this el-api.jar (click to download the 24 ko library) in the library directory of your iceScrum2 web application :
[YourAppServerDirectory]/webapps/iceScrum2/WEB-INF/lib

You have to stop and restart your Tomcat App Server to complete the process.

Hi,
i tried R2#14.2 release in both available setups (1. being the bundle with tomcat & 2. the WAR file). I didn't experience any problems at the installation using the guide at http://www.icescrum.org/index.php/frequ ... tallation/. I ended up with a blank page with no errors whatsoever. Please help.

Setup: Debian Lenny with JDK 6

Hi,
Please post your log file "catalina.out" ([icescrum2 tomcat]/logs/catalina.out).
You user must have right to write on {user.home} / .icescrum2 . Do you have some files here ?
