Reopening a task

Postby angelodiego » Fri 6 Jul 2012 09:58

I'm currently evaluating icescrum r5 1.2 and so far it looks great except for one detail, I can't find a way to put a task back from "done" to "in progres", i can see people doing this by mistake.
Someone suggested to do a copy of it and delete the original but attachments are not copied.
Thanks for you answers

Hello,

Only one way :

- Copy task done
- Move the copied task to in progress
- Delete task done (as ScrumMaster)

Hello Vincent,
this unfortunately doesn't solve the attachments problem, following the described procedure they are lost

Hum, you've right on this...

So I see 2 options :

- we add attachments when copy
- we add capability to move a task back to in progress

I see the second one as a more intiutive solution (but copying with attachments would be a good thing to have as well), if you don't want developers to fiddle with the state of a task you could limit this option to the scrum master or the icescrum administrator
